Prioritise homeless British Citizens before Afgan Refugees for housing
The government must prioritise homeless British citizens before any refugees from Afghanistan many British families have been waiting several years on the housing register for council homes give local authorities the funding they need to build more homes for homeless families living in the U.K.
According to Shelter analysis and research the number of households with children who are homeless and living in temporary accommodation in England has increased by 61% in the last decade. The number of homeless children living in temporary accommodation increased by 72% over the same time period the government failed British families by under funding local authorities more social homes needs to be built local authorities need more funding the Government needs to recognise its failing towards Bristish families before helping refugees from Afghanistan
