Get HMRC under control.
Broader communication hours for those who are working. Get all department contact information easily visible and accessible. Send all requests of information in one letter and not multiple ones. Provide an alternate communication method such as Email instead of sending letters through the post,
It is virtually impossible to contact the HMRC regarding any question as HMRC is only open from 8 am to 4 pm which is the time frame of all people who are at work. Compounded by the fact that HMRC is not open on Saturdays and Sundays you are forced to take time off work to contact the HMRC as communication with them takes at least a couple of hours.
It is difficult to navigate the HMRC website to find each department which takes lots of time, in some cases this information doesn't exist.
It is essential that communication between HMRC and the people is faster and more transparent to avoid delays and even missed opportunities to collect the support granted by the government.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
