Reduce the maximum fine for non-payment of TV Licence
Amend the Communications Act 2003 to reduce the maximum fine payable on non-payment of the TV licence fee from £1000 to £10.
People are being penalised for a service that they do not require. The Government has to abide by the BBC Charter until 2027 but the maximum fine should now be reduced to reflect current circumstances.
