Add mental health training to teaching courses
All adults who want to work in a school environment must have mental health training added into their 3-4 year course at University to help children and teenagers in a mainstream education environment who have mental health issues or illnesses.
Many children/teenagers suffer from mental health. As the young person advances into secondary school/college the rules are much stricter and punishments are given out for minor reasons. This can make some people with mental health issues feel scared, anxious and may lead to avoidance in going. Teachers/tutors don't have an understanding in mental health and how to help young people in difficult situations, so Universities must teach useful ways to help young people who struggle more than others
