Revoke mandatory vaccination policy for those in the Health & Social Care sector
Revoke the policy which makes the covid vaccine a condition of deployment in care homes.
Also discontinue the consultations planned to go ahead to extend this policy to other settings.
Aswell as this policy being discriminatory to those who do not wish to have the covid vaccine, it is also going to negatively impact those it is supposed to be protecting.
The health and social care sector is already suffering from a workforce gap and this policy is only going to worsen the gap, by giving health and social care professionals that don't wish to comply with the policy, no other option but to leave their job.
How is that going to help and protect the most vulnerable in society?
