Petition Details

Change the law regarding knife crime so the cps can allow police to charge people with attempted murder instead of wounding with intent.

Additional Information

The law needs changing on knife crime to end this pandemic that is taking over the youth of today,
There is no deterrent and the sentence handed down for stabbing someone who survives is shocking
Average 9 months time served!

Stabbing someone is a pre meditated assault, is always done in a rage and often is done by people who know each other.

The sentence must reflect the crime knife crime is a real pandemic and there is no deterrent and it’s touch and go with most stabbings who live or dies
