Petition Action

Hold the media accountable for creating unfounded panic and panic buying

Petition Details

The mainstream media are regularly creating panic by exaggeration of minor issues, this is causing the general public to behave irrationally and is creating dangerous situations

Additional Information

The media outlets need to be held accountable and have there broadcast rights removed when they are seen to create unnecessary panic.
This is becoming a regular occurrence and needs to be stopped before lives are lost as a consequence telling half truths, if social media posts can be fact checked then media outlets should face the same scrutiny.
