Do not add fluoride to the drinking water
Do not add fluoride to the drinking water. If tooth decay is really a serious problem in the UK, there are other ways to combat it without putting potentially neuro-toxic chemical in the drinking water of everyone in the country.
From a Harvard article titled "Impact of fluoride on neurological development in children":
"In a meta-analysis, researchers from Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and China Medical University in Shenyang for the first time combined 27 studies and found strong indications that fluoride may adversely affect cognitive development in children. "
Regardless of future research on fluoride, it is not the role of the government to medicate the entire population via the water supply.
