Offer HGV CAT2 drivers access to free class1 & combined ADR certification.
There are numerous HGV class2 drivers who would like to obtain a class1 & ADR but cannot afford it. Obtaining a HGV class1 license & ADR tanker certification is expensive, preventing many drivers from doing it. I propose a limited number of GOV funded class1 and ADR certifications for drivers.
There is a shortage of HGV class1 and tanker drivers, funding the class1 and ADR certification to a number of HGV class2 drivers annually would prevent any future petrol crises and increase class one drivers.
