Increasing the length of summer holidays - Decreasing Half terms

Petition Details

The Government needs to review the education system's school holidays as this no longer fits the modern working family, especially after Brexit and Covid19. I am asking to reduce half terms dates and increase summer holidays. The review should proceed with the view of increasing more summer holidays

Additional Information

1. More Summer holidays and not half-term holidays
2. flexibility to do holidays abroad much cheaper & nicer than the UK summer weather.
3. Half terms are expensive without quality family time
4. Modern world-changing is about time government to change the educational system as well
5. Keep schools in summer open/provide job opportunities/help employed people/See other countries - summer school opportunity
6. Quality family summertime instead of half terms
