Allow parents of immigrant citizens to settle or stay longer in UK.
I want the government to allow parents of immigrant British citizens to come live with us here in UK either permanently or for longer than the current 6 months every year allowed under the visitor visa.
I came here in UK in 2006 and am now British citizen. I am a law abiding, tax paying citizen and contribute positively in nation building. I am happily settled here and grateful to be part of the community but do miss taking care of my parents and would love them to be able to settle here with me and my family and see their grandchildren growing. Allow them to live longer here with us even if it is on the condition that they wont have recourse to public finds or healthcare.
