Reintroduce HGV class 3 .. rigid vehicles over 7.5 tonnes with 2 axles
I would like the current government to repeal the EU driving categoris to reintroduce pre1997 rules allowing drivers who passed there test before 1997 to drive trucks over 7.5 tonnes with 2 axles

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want it to be easier for people to drive HGVs, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Rights for people who got their driving licence before 1997 to drive HGVs still exist, so we're not sure what you mean by asking for these to be reinstated.
