Remove all titles on UK driving licences

Petition Details

We request that all titles be removed from UK driving licences, as we believe current practice is a clear case of gender-bias and sexism, highlighting the need for change in how different genders are perceived and portrayed by our government.

Additional Information

The DVLA only automatically states the title of someone who gives their title as Miss, Mrs, or Ms - whereas men’s licenses are just their name without a title, unless specifically requested.

We believe this is sexist, and that gender titles should not be used on driving licences.
