Abolish use of caste names as surnames(sign of racism/casteism) by Indians in UK
To stop use of Caste names as surnames;
caste names are not equivalent to family names or surnames used in UK.
Caste names, especially upper caste names openly indicate caste based supremacy and contributes to discrimination.
UK population appears to be naive about this, whereas as an Indian, I can affirm this is part of the Indian version of apartheid, which is a shame, even MPs and Doctors openly using.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about what to call their children are a matter for parents, and decisions about what name to use as an adult is a decision for individuals, not the Government or House of Commons.
As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
