Petition Action

UK Government to stop discrimination of unvaccinated people

Petition Details

UK Government to stop discrimination and authoritarian approach to unvaccinated people who have naturally developed Covid19 antibodies and create system that classifies natural immunity the same as those vaccinated.

Additional Information

It is well known and documented that those who had Covid19 naturally have developed the same if not better than those vaccinated immune response against the virus. Those with virus antibodies should have the same rights and be allowed to travel and enter venues etc. on the same level regardless of whether immunity has been acquired through vaccination or naturally.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about different rules that apply to people in certain circumstances depending on whether they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, but it's not clear from the text of your petition if you want the Government to ban all rules that discriminate on the basis of vaccination status, or if you just want current rules to be expanded to people who have recovered from Covid-19.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:

Outlaw discrimination on the basis of vaccination status: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/596004
