Stop schools using policies to stop children from going to the toilet in lessons
Abolish the policy
Many schools in the UK are not allowing children to go to the toilet when they need it. They are asking parents to provide medical exemption forms so the child can go to toilet in lesson time. This is unacceptable. It’s a child’s human right to be able to go to the toilet. Some teachers are asking money for toilet passes. Some schools are restricting children completely. This is unacceptable behaviour. It is neglect and we need change NOW so it don’t affect their psychological health and health.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about policies regarding when students can leave the classroom are a matter for individual schools, not the Government or House of Commons.
As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
