Make period products for women and girls in the UK free and easy to access.
It is more than ridiculous that us women have to pay for period products, I think that the governing board should have a way of making period products free and less stigmatised for women.
This is important to me because as a young girl, i have seen my friends have to go without because they live in poverty. I think that us as women should not have to worry about wether we can afford period products because of something we cant avoid. 20% of families live in poverty in the UK, 1 in ten women or girls can not afford them and have to go without. The cost for a lifetime of sanitary products equals £1,303.81!
