Petition Action

Driving licence holders aged 60 and over should resit test every 5 years

Petition Details

Make eyesight testing and a basic driving test for those over 60 mandatory and every 5 years after that.

Additional Information

There are too many accidents involving older people now that something needs to be done before more people get killed, injured and property damaged. There are too many cases of this and it should be preventable.

Many older drivers can not see well enough and may not be competent anymore.
