The government to extend and Issue Covid-19 Passes to people tested positive

Petition Details

We want the government to extend COVID-19 passes to people who has tested positive for COVID-19. and to people who has natural immunity to COVID-19.

Additional Information

The pandemic has had an adverse impact on everyone's lives therefore issuing Covid-19 passes to all, will improve the economic benefits to individuals and is favorable for public health and the UK economy.
In the UK, we strive for Equality for All. We do not want unvaccinated people to feel ostracized. Therefore, to avoid discrimination against UK Citizens that have contracted and recovered from Covid-19 Virus, their immunity should be treated equally as a person that has been vaccinated.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you want the NHS Covid pass to be extended to people who have recovered from Covid-19, or otherwise have natural immunity against the virus. However your petition refers to people who have recovered from Covid-19 as though they all have immunity against future infection, when this is not the case. It's therefore not clear if you want the arrangements you have proposed to cover anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 at any point, people who have tested positive for Covid-19 during a certain timeframe, or only people who have antibodies against Covid-19.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
