I would like homework from schools to be stopped or the choice of the child.
To stop homework or make it a choice and to stop punishment for not completing homework considering my child is at school for 7 hours a day 5 days a week and works very hard. He is 12 and homework causes so much stress and upset when home should be be a place of rest.
My child works hard at school for 7 hours a day, he should not have to come home and carry on school work when home should be a place of rest, not stress and upset every day after school. He then gets a detention for every lesson of homework not done, which is every lesson every week. The stress this causes is unnecessary and potentially harmful to their mental health, children should not have to deal with stress or punishment for non completion of homework as he works so hard at school.
