Allow everyone to certify a document as a true copy of the original. At the moment your document must be certified by a professional person or someone well-respected in your community (‘of good standing’). This is disrespectful to the remaining good citizens of the country because there is no class A and class B people.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. There is no specific list of people who are able t certify documents - a decision on whether to accept a certification is a matter for the person or organisation receiving the document.
