Offer a third booster vaccination to all school staff.
We would like all education staff to be offered a booster Covid 19 vaccine to protect our communities and to ensure the smooth running of schools over the next few months.
School staff are at the frontline and very exposed to Covid 19. Experience has shown that this transmission from staff to student and vice versa is more likely to bring the virus into families where there are vulnerable people. As vaccine immunity wanes, school staff are more likely to catch Covid over the winter period if they haven’t already not only bringing the virus into more homes but also disrupting children’s education even further.
