Exempt V8 petrol vehicles from fuel excise tax
Vote to exempt V8 powered petrol vehicles from fuel excise duty
To reduce the cost of motoring for V8 enthusiasts from the current extremely high petrol prices.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you're concerned about taxes on vehicles which use v8 fuel, however it's not clear whether you want such vehicles to be exempt from fuel duty (i.e. the tax levied on the sale of fuel), vehicle excise duty (sometimes known as road tax), or both.

You could have a petition which calls for vehicles which use v8 fuel to be exempted from one or both of these duties, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
