More cars on the road but less parking avaliable. Parking outside home and anywhere in the borough is becoming more and more difficult.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about local parking restrictions are a matter for your local authority, not the Government or House of Commons.

As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.

You could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
