Support and Save Bangladeshi Hindus
Innocent People from Hindu communities in Bangladesh are being brutally attacked and their houses are being burned down. I would like the British Government to support them and put pressure on the Bangladeshi Government, so that they take action as soon as possible.
Hindus are minority in Bangladesh and their lives is at risk. I would be grateful to the Government if they did something regarding this issue as everyone has the right to feel safe and practise their religion without being attacked.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the situation of Hindus in Bangladesh, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
The Government has said that it is concerned about the recent violence directed against Hindu Durga Puja celebrations across various districts in Bangladesh, that it engages with the Government of Bangladesh on the importance of freedom of religion or belief, which remains a priority for the UK Government, and that the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh has publicly expressed his condolences to the victims of the violence and the UK's support for those working for religious tolerance and harmony in Bangladesh and around the world: questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-questions/detail/2021-10-19/59091
