The government should take back control over the local streets.
We need to take this action, as local councils have taken climate into their own hands and have blocked many many streets around London without consulting residents living there.
This results in high congestion on our main streets and causes unnecessary pain and traffic.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about local authority decisions on roads, but we're not sure what powers you would like the Government to take away from local authorities.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
If you start a new petition you would need to provide your full name.
