Petition Action

Enact ‘Plan B’ to help keep people and our NHS well this winter.

Petition Details

Enact ‘Plan B’ without delay to help people and our NHS from being overwhelmed this winter. As recently outlined in a statement by ‘NHS Confederation’ The NHS is seeing worrying increases in coronavirus cases in its hospitals and the community at a time when it is preparing for a busy winter period.

Additional Information

This is about the NHS not becoming so overwhelmed with Covid that it can’t care for cancer, heart disease, surgical & all the other patients.

‘Plan B’ would help relieve pressure on the NHS by enacting mandatory use of masks, Covid-19 certificates and social distancing. These minor inconvenience would be significant.

Many of these measures, particularly around mask-wearing and COVID-19 certification, are already common in parts of Europe where the prevalence of the disease is lower.
