Set tuition fees to be proportional to their relevance and contribution to society
University tuition fees should be set according to the needs of business and society, to encourage students to study fields which are in demand
Courses such as Engineering, the sciences, medicine etc should have the lowest fees as there is a big skills shortage in these areas.
Courses whose graduates have little or no chance of securing worthwhile employment once they graduate should charge the highest fees, as their contribution to society and the economy will be the smallest.
