Allow individuals with Serious Mental Health issues to have free prescriptions.
Grant FREE MENTAL HEALTH prescriptions for people with Serious Mental Health conditions like: Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia Disorder, PTSD, OCD and Depression.
My understanding is that a condition is likely to be considered as a disability if a mental health condition has lasted longer than 12 months and has a significant impact on their ability to undertake their normal daily activities. I would like some clarity on why people with physical disabilities are entitled to free prescriptions? Medication for MH is just as important as medication for a physical disability and individuals rely on this daily to function with day-to-day activities.
