Put an end to immunity of prosecution for heads of state
It’s clear that the government think they can do anything and put the lives of the public at risk, this is not acceptable. No one should be above the law.
Very simply, put an end to the immunity of prosecution.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about immunity from criminal prosecution for heads of state, but your petition refers to the government, and ministers and government officials do not currently have any immunity from criminal prosecution.
We could accept a petition calling for legislation granting immunity from prosecution to heads of state to be revoked, if that's what you want to happen.
