Discriminating disabled adults to get jobs.
To make sure employees decide not to hire people who have a disability.
I went for an interview one time at a pub and the manager told me I would be taking plates out to peoples table and I told the manager that I could carry only one plate out at a time as I have limited use of my right arm. And that he was worried that I couldn’t do it as I would have to carry 2 to 3 plates at a time.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
against the law for employers to discriminate against you because of a disability. The Equality Act 2010 protects you and covers areas including:
- application forms
- interview arrangements
- aptitude or proficiency tests
- job offers
- terms of employment, including pay
- promotion, transfer and training opportunities
- dismissal or redundancy
- discipline and grievances
