Petition Details

I feel the 11+ exam isn’t a correct insight into a child’s academic ability as it is to early to tell. I call for a reform to make it more accessible to the public and overall provide a fairer education to our children.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about the 11+ exam, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

In any case, students are not required to take the 11+ exam by the Government, and petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
