Body Armour/ stab vests for security staff
To protect all security staff allowing them to wear body armour / stab vests in their working env
To protect staff from verbal and physical abuse while at work
Staff get verbally abused every day
To be told they will come back after they finish work to get them.
Stabbing a are on the rise.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the safety of security staff, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Your petition calls for security staff to be allowed to wear protective clothing while on duty, but this is already possible.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to make it a legal requirement for security staff to wear a stab vest while on duty, if that's what you want to happen.
