Petition Action

Make websites prominently display where their products are made.

Petition Details

Make it a legal requirement for:

- companies selling physical goods to state on their website where each product is made, the nation in which the company selling those goods is based, where the raw materials came from to make the goods & most importantly make this info as prominent as the price.

Additional Information

Most goods are now purchased at speed from the internet. Due to this change we believe less thought is given to the impact these purchases might have on the environment due to their origin not being known or easily accessible.

This additional information will also make the provenance of products more transparent, so that consumers can make an informed choice on whether they wish to purchase goods or products made in countries that do not respect basic human rights and freedoms.
