To set a minimum age limit for ear piercing

Petition Details

I would like an minimum age limit on how old children should be to have their ear's pierced. Why put babies and children through unnecessary pain? Surely this is abuse as they cannot consent to this and do not understand the risk that comes with having this procedure.

Additional Information

Children shouldn't be able to have their ears pierced until they can fully consent and understand the risks.
