Hold a referendum on introducing proportional representation to elect MPs
The UK uses First Past the Post system to elect members of the House of Commons. It's unfair because it results in wasted votes. For example, in the Kensington constituency, the incumbent Conservative MP got elected with only 38% of the vote, meaning that 62% did not vote for her.
I want the Government to hold a referendum on changing the electoral system to a proportional one, that will match votes to seats and that it will not result in wasted votes. It would result in a truly representative system which right now isn't.
