Create a new register and regulatory body for Advanced Clinical Practitioners

Petition Details

Many allied healthcare professionals on other registers are now becoming ACP’s. We believe it is important that the public are aware of this role and have confidence in practitioners treating them, therefore advance clinical practice should be regulated and have its own register.

Additional Information

The public and patients need confidence and trust in practitioners who treat them, and we believe not having a regulating body or register can cause confusion, as patients may think this is not a official or registered role. Advance clinical practitioners should have on a individual register that is relevant to the advance degree they have completed.
