Pensions to be paid to dying people who will have died before retirement age
To Give a dying person the right to claim their pension if their illness doesn't allow them to live to pensionable age.
Since the pension age has been raised, there are a number of men and women who, due to terminal illness, will never have the luxury of claiming their pension or how to spend it. By allowing them their pension early, it allows them the last bit of dignity on how the would like to use the last of their money.
Limited capability money, which a dying person receives at present, is a means tested benefit, if their partner receives CA or income, that part of the component is deducted from the benefit

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want people who have been given a terminal diagnosis to be able to claim their pension early, but we're not sure if you want this to apply to state pensions, or private pensions, or both. We're also not sure if you want people with a terminal diagnosis to be exempt from other eligibility criteria for claiming the state pension.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
