Fireworks should not be sold to the public, only used at council/licenced events
I am looking for fireworks not be sold to the general public. They should only be used by councils at licensed events and gatherings. Not looking to ban them, but they should be enjoyed at dedicated events away from residential houses.
I have two dogs and my neighbour also has a dog, but this bonfire night has been filled with anxiety and fear as the dogs have been hiding and shaking. Most of the residents in our close have been setting off fireworks to a point that they are going off above our household, as such the dogs are unable to escape. On the worst case scenario, dogs have had heart attacks from fireworks and nobody should have to go through that with their pets.
