Minimum 6 months in prison for assaulting any member of the emergency services.
To ensure anyone found guilty of attacking or assaulting a member of the emergency services, serves a minimum of six months in prison.
Having seen sentences for assaulting emergency workers range from 40hrs community work to a fine of £160, it's time people realised it's unacceptable to attack emergency workers.
