We are writing to inform you about our concerns of Student Bursary reduction.
We students feel annoyed because we were not informed of this reduction and disrespected because we do not know where the money is going to and if it is really being invested in our education.
As prices are rising, our money is being reduced and we demand the reinstatement of our full bursary.
If you are eligible, you clearly need the money in the first place and we use this money on food and travel among other things. We have waited so long for this money only to be disappointed and let down. Currently, we are recovering from covid-19 and this financial support will help us to succeed and eventually start paying your taxes.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about student bursaries, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
We have published a number of petitions about student bursaries, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions?q=student+bursary&state=open
