Make the day after Remembrance Sunday a Public Holiday

Petition Details

As a former member of the British Armed Forces, remembrance day is one of the most important days of the year for me and there should be a public holiday to commemorate it.

Additional Information

There is a long gap between August and Christmas and I can think of no more fitting testament to our veterans and their families to make the day following Remembrance Sunday a public holiday. This will give us all the chance to remember and reflect even more than we do now and will highlight their sacrifice to a wider audience.
