Lower the age to 18 for breast screening
From a mother in her thirties who I have seen in the media all I seem to hear is the age of people being diagnosed for breast cancer is younger than the age that the screening process takes place. I have seen the affects it has on people emotionally and physically.
I want the government or parliament to do something as I feel we all need to come together as this isn’t going to go away how many more people have to go undiagnosed.. or rely on there own examinations.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about when to offer breast screening are a matter for the NHS, not the Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to fund routine breast screening from the age of 18, if that's something you would like to happen.
