Petition Action

Move Parliament and associated activities of Parliament to Manchester.

Petition Details

The House of Commons voted in 2018 for both houses to vacate the Palace of Westminster to allow for a complete refurbishment. This petition wishes to make a case to move all Parliamentary activity out of London to Manchester, the approximate geographical centre of the United Kingdom.

Additional Information

This petition demands that the heart of British democracy, the Houses of Parliament, is relocated temporarily to to the heart of the British Isles, Manchester. By doing this a new focus and impetus for the United Kingdom may be nurtured for the remainder of the 21st Century.
