Bar HOL peerages from MPs the Comm on Standards finds in breach of their COC
The government should bar anyone the Committee (comm) on Standards has found to be in breach of the Code of Conduct (COC) for MPs from being appointed the House of Lords
If an individual elected to power as an MP, loses the people’s trust by breaking the COC (code of conduct for MPs) then they should not be given a peerage in the House of Lords were they yet again hold power that can affect the people of this country. Actions have consequences and this must apply to all.
