Rememberance day to be recognised as/have a bank holiday
I'd love to see a recognised bank holiday to remember our troops.
So we can all take a day to celebrate and commemorate our hero's and all they sacrificed for us.
I was at work this past rememberance day. And was told we would recognize a 2mins silence to remember.
I find it shameful that for all these people sacrificed for us, they get 2 minutes.
The least they deserve is a day, so we can have street parties, tie yellow ribbons round our trees and make the most fabulous poppy displays possible.
Because that really is, the very least, that these hero's deserve.
