Petition Action

Scrap changes to give powers to the Home Office to revoke citizenship

Petition Details

The changes to the Nationality & Borders bill, giving the Home Office powers to revoke citizenship without notice, should be scrapped. It is open to abuse and racist actions to remove British nationals from the country they are born in, just because of their ethnic origin.

Additional Information

The changes to bill, will remove the rights of British Citizens to appeal actions taken by the home office, which maybe by mistake or actions taken under misguided agendas.

At a time where 2nd generation British citizen need to feel that the UK is their country, this bill will only re-enforce their identity crisis and create more division not unity amongst local communities throughout the UK. The UK should take responsibility of its citizens, not dispose of it's citizens to foreign countries.
