Revoke compulsory wearing of facemasks on public transport and in shops
The recent mandating of masks should be overturned forthwith and we should return to making it a matter of personal choice whether or not to wear one.
There has not been any recent spike in infections, hospital admissions or deaths, and we believe this new "omicron" variant provides no justification for extra restrictions.
An evidence review by the Cato Institute has concluded that clinical evidence of facemask efficacy is of low quality and the best evidence has mostly failed to show efficacy: https://www.cato.org/working-paper/evidence-community-cloth-face-masking-limit-spread-sars-cov-2-critical-review
