Petition Action

Allow travellers from Southern Africa to self-isolate on return to the UK

Petition Details

We're petitioning Government to allow fully vaccinated travellers from the Southern African region to self-isolate at home on their return to the UK and complete compulsory PCR test on day 2 and 8.

The current hotel quarantine is unaffordable and robbing people the chance to see family.

Additional Information

We appreciate the uncertainty the new Omnicron variant brings. We're asking the Government to afford responsible citizens, who are
fully vaccinated, the opportunity to travel home to Southern Africa & self-isolate on their return.

The current hotel quarantine is not an affordable option for many & this is robbing many people the opportunity to see family for the first time in 2 years due to the COVID pandemic & unaffordable hotel quarantine.

PCR testing before and after arrival should be used
