Petition Action

Introduce a 12-hour weekly working limit for under 18s in full-time education

Petition Details

I want it to be made a legal requirement that people under the age of 18, who are in education, can only work a maximum of 12 hours a week. This should help encourage increased focus on their studies, which could help lead to success in years to come.

Additional Information

Many teens work long shifts regardless of the fact they are in full-time education. We believe they should be focusing on doing well in their exams to allow them to do succeed academically, with a view to helping them get a job they care about.
